It’s hard to justify the brother and sister bond.
For some families it’s a love hate relationship, but with my sister Caroline, it’s something special
250 miles separate us and even though we see each other once every few years, I know she’s always there for me.
2016 has been a weird year for me. I’ve had my ups, and some really high ups, but also my downs, and no matter what it’s been about, she has always been there to listen, if I needed someone to talk to.
I sent Caroline a text this morning asking her to check in here @ 8pm and here we are…
Wow, what can I say! Let’s start with a Merry Christmas!
Our phone chat today showed how close we are. It doesn’t matter if it’s 250 miles or 2500 miles between us, we’re always around for one another and I wanted to say thank you.
Thank you for being my big sister! 14 years separate us (Sorry for giving away your age, well sort of!), but it feels like we were minutes apart.
Life hasn’t been all it’s made out to be this year and yet you somehow pick me up with one chat. Lucky you’re not here, otherwise picking me up would hurt.
You turn my hurt into inspiration and just our chat today gave me motivation to do what I need to do next year. Thanks to for my project notebook!
Next year, will push me to my limit and I know you’ll be there every step of the way like you always have been.
The picture above, just resembles the smiles. The smiles you bring into my life.
Just thank you! If I was with you right now, I’d give you a massive hug!
I’m lucky to call you my big sister and here’s to another year of making some amazing memories!
Maybe next time, don’t try and beat me up with the Rounders bat. That wasn’t the reason we set a world record together.
Love your little, but very big bro,
