We all want that perfect picture, where the beautiful background radiates our personality and the term ‘blogger’ comes to life.
The pictures we don’t see is the expressions bloggers pull, when something happens behind in the scenes. I wanted to use this blog post to tell you a story. A story of the expressions people have when certain things happen…
The WTF look
WTF!!! OH NO SHE/HE DIDN’T!!! Let me refresh….OK THEY DID SAY IT!!! OMG!!!
When someone has said something you completely disagree with, this is the look I imagine people pulling. The WTF look is a look that happens immediately when someone is trying to cause drama in blogging or has a very strong opinion that only their opinion matters.
Shit is about to go down!
Once the drama has started and the tension builds, the way one opinion escalates causes my face to look like I’ve shit myself.
Drama escalates out of nowhere, when people feel they have to justify their loyalty to someone by sticking their nose in. When shit is happening, why would you want to put your nose in? It smells!
Escalating the situation only makes things worse and doesn’t make you a good friend by getting involved, it just makes people feel ganged up on. Let people fight their own battles!
Let the games begin…
There’s a WANT to get involved in controversy, as there’s a chance to be seen in the public eye. The “let the games begin” look gives you an understanding someone is going to stick their nose in for the wrong reasons.
“Oh hey girl/guy, I’m ready! Are you?!”
This’ll boost my stats, right? People will click on my profile, right? Of course they will! People want to see the twat you are, so how do they do that? They click on your profile!
Can you smell that?
Smells like shit?!!! OMG!! THAT’S ACTUAL SHIT!!
Drama in blogging happens because shit wants to stench up people’s surroundings. Bloggers cause the shit to erupt from their tiny hole, as they have nothing better to do with their day.
Yes, drama happens everyday, but we don’t need to get involved. WE HAVE A CHOICE!!!
We have a choice when it comes to asking someone what’s happening, and we have a choice when it comes to responding to the initial tweet or another tweet involved at some stage of the conversation.
WE DON’T NEED TO CAUSE DRAMA AND WE CERTAINLY DON’T NEED TO ESCALATE IT!!
Shit smells! I think we’ve forgotten that! Throwing your crap onto the already stenching crap is only going to make things worse and the smell is going to spread.
